Gob Loading Camera & Blank Side Temperature Control

 

One equipment - two functionalities:

The Heye BlankMaster unites precise gob loading monitoring with optimal temperature management on the blank side. A camera automatically measures gob loading parameters while a pyrometer measures blank side temperatures in the area of the blank, plunger, neckring and parison. This combination avoids defects and leads to enhanced process stability and short job change times.

Function

 

Gob Loading Camera (GLC)

 

A dual camera module takes 2 x 500 pictures per second and measures in real-time the gob from deflector exit to entrance of the blank mould. It moves as a tender of the swabbing robot and ensures optimal loading during production and after a job change.

Blank Side Temperature Control (BTC)

 

A pyrometer records multiple measurements in one cycle to find, maintain and/or retrieve optimal temperatures during production and after equipment and/or job change.
